The 15th Islamic Summit of the Organisation of Islmaic Cooperation was held in The Gambia on May 4-5, 2024. The Government of The Gambia set up The Gambia OIC Secretariat to lead government’s efforts to host the summit. Five priority projects were identified by the Secretariat; they are The Sir Dawda Kairaba Jawara International Conference Centre which was inaugurated in January 2020 by the President H.E Adama Barrow, road infrastructure, VVIP airport and terminal renovation, 5-Star Hotel, VIP cars and delegate transportation. Other projects include security, health, water and electricity.
VIP and high-level delegation guests stayed at Fajara Waterfront Residence, the most luxurious property in The Gambia, which we proudly manage. Our responsibility was to ensure they had an exceptional stay throughout the event.
We collaborated closely with the Gambian government to guarantee their safety and well-being, overseeing every detail, including security and fine dining. Bliss Services played a pivotal role in the program’s success, earning high praise for our expertise in hospitality and diplomacy.
